| It's been a while. It's my senior year and a lot has changed. Well, pretty much everything. I'm learning to deal but it hasn't been easy. I think I'm pretty set on my college decision but it will ultimately come down to whether or not I'm accepted to my 2nd school and if I get any scholarships there. My friends are great this year. I'm glad I found them this Summer. I'm ready to be done with school. College might turn out to be one of those things where you build it up in your mind and then you get there and realize it wasn't so much better than what you left. However, I choose to believe that it will be immensely better. It can't be any worse. |

| So a lot has happened since.. July 31. So far school isn't terrible. This summer was one of the best yet. I went to see Switchfoot.
We visited some more colleges
I got an ipod mini
I got my hair cut the shortest it's ever been. I also got a new phone and a car. On one of the last days of summer Mike, K, Anne, Mary and I went to the waterpark and it was sweet. This summer I tried to learn guitar. I can only play a few chords but oh well it takes time. I took a PSAT course and did summer projects. Band is going well so far and our section is finally starting to get along. I started running almost every day and I love it. This morning I went for a run and it just feels so great with the wind on your face breathing hard up a hill pushing through the fatigue or whatever. Then you get your second wind. I love runner's highs...
¤ Summer ¤ just sort of faded away and now its a blur or late nights, just hanging out, and driving around town. Some memorable moments include the trip to the old market with K and Mike. Just perusing the shops, the amazing ice cream, the free concert, all in all a great day. Some more great times were spent playing tennis, painting by the dock, movie/game nights, softball games, riding in the Wrangler, tcby, ghetto Maple, and the WOF trip in May. I hung out with the same people so much it was rediculous but I never did get tired of it. What a great summer it was. Enjoy the last long weekend for a while and get ready for an amazing/crazy/insane/sleep deprived Junior year. |
